Santa Fe CoolBiz Celebrates "Cool" Businesses for Earth Day

The Sierra Club’s Santa Fe Cool Biz Program is recognizing eight local businesses for green business practices.

The highest award, Climate Saver, goes to:
Covington Consulting.

The second highest award level, Climate Partners, goes to:
Inn of the Five Graces
Lotus Beauty
Pecos Baldy Enterprises
Positive Energy.

The third highest award level, Climate Helpers, was achieved by:
Architectural Alliance
Chocolate Maven
Lewallen and Lewallen Jewelry.

Founded in 2008, "CoolBiz" is the business outreach component of the Northern New Mexico Group's Cool Cities campaign. Both campaigns emphasize energy efficiency, reducing waste and minimizing cost within businesses and non-profit organizations. Currently comprising 36 companies, CoolBiz recently surveyed its' members to gauge their energy efficient measures. The results were extremely satisfying.
