Club secures strong support from Governor Richardson to protect environment from Coal Waste
September 22, 2010 - Governor Bill Richardson has sent us a letter confirming his strong support for establishing strong controls on coal combustion waste. This letter is in response to a Club led effort on this issue. The Dan Lorimier, conservation organizer for the Rio Grande Chapter of the Club coordinated and delivered a letter from 13 environmental organizations. The letter is attached.
