The Historic El Rey Theater will be hosting a benefit to raise funds for two key organizations involved in helping with the Gulf Oil Crisis. We invite you to please join us in support of the efforts of those who are working underwater and above in the Gulf of Mexico.

It is time to establish carbon emission caps for New Mexico. It would appear that the U.S. Senate is not going to act anytime soon, so establishing more local caps on carbon emissions are needed now. The New Mexico Environmental Improvement Board (EIB) will hold hearings during the week of August 16 in consideration of establishing carbon caps. Please get involved and attend one of these meetings. Speak out and provide moral support for the clean energy side.

The Blue Green Alliance is staging a nationwide bus tour that will be in Albuquerque to call for comprehensive clean energy and climate change legislation in the fall. The event will feature union members who work in clean energy sectors and advocate for clean energy policies.
